Shipping information
Generally all orders received will be despatched within 24-48 hours, Monday to Friday (holidays excluded).
The delivery address must be a physical residential or business address – my courier provider cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
Your address in New Zealand will dictate your specific courier charge.
Should you have a special delivery instruction, before completing your order please enter the relevant information in “Special Delivery Instructions” found in your order summary before checkout. The delivery instructions will be passed onto my courier. Please ensure that you also include your contact details should the courier driver need to contact you.
You will receive a notification from me when your order is ready to despatch, this will contain a tracking link to track your order.
Your products will generally arrive in 2-5 business days. Please allow extra time for delivery to rural addresses.
Your products will always be sent out in a discreet, plain cardboard box.
Please know that while I will always strive to ensure your order gets to you as fast as possible, courier delays are out of my control. I cannot refund orders, or courier fees due to delays or change of mind.
Should the courier lose your package in transit please contact me within 7 days of despatch. I will investigate, and if need be provide you with compensation or replacement products depending on the specific circumstances. I cannot accept responsibility for missing parcels due to an incorrect shipping address being provided. Please double check the shipping address you have entered to ensure it is correct when you finalise your order with me. (It would also pay to double check that the size of FemCap you ordered is actually the size of FemCap you think you ordered, before it arrives – incorrectly!)
Should you receive goods damaged in transit please contact me within 7 days (ideally contact me immediately) of receiving the goods. Please leave the goods in the damaged packaging as they were delivered and send photos. This will assist with any claims.
Please know that this shipping insurance does not cover theft of parcels once delivery has been confirmed by the courier. I highly recommend that you use the most secure delivery address possible to avoid potential issues with theft.
I do not offer international delivery at this moment – other than to Australia. However, if you’re interested in purchasing these products please email me about this.
Returns
I want your decision to purchase a FemCap (and Caya Gel) to be one of the best purchases – actually, to be one of the best lifestyle choices – you’ve ever made for your health! To this end, I’ve done my best to provide you with all the necessary information to help you make an educated and considered choice:
I’ve written an in-depth article about this topic on my health & wellbeing website (LISA SAID SO); here I’ve provided FemCap’s Patient Information Package (with highly specific information & instructions on how to use this device), and I have also drawn your attention to the actual FemCap website (in the USA) which you can refer to for FAQs and further information.
And while you don’t need a prescription to buy FemCap in New Zealand, I’ve made sure to discourage impulse buying by ensuring you (again!) make an educated and considered decision about your purchase, by:
1) Asking you to answer a series of important questions prior to purchase.
2) Asking you to please choose your FemCap carefully as unfortunately I won’t be providing refunds or credits if you change your mind or make the wrong decision. (I am targeting the FemCap to motivated women who know what they are signing up for.)
Note: I will, of course, meet my obligation under the Consumer’s Guarantee Act 1993.
3) Offering a FemCap session (30mins) – $95 – if you would like to: clarify anything, need some advice, or would just like to talk things through before making ’the leap’; as it were.
If, for some reason, I’ve managed to send out the wrong product/s or have missed including product/s, please send me an email within 7 days of receipt of your package (ideally contact me immediately), and I’ll sort everything out as quickly as possible for you.
NB: Please check the sizing on the front/bottom/far right side of your FemCap box prior to removing the ’tamper evident seal’ – to ensure you’ve received the correct product.
And, in the unlikely event that you receive a product that has an issue with its quality, please contact me about this ASAP. To assist me with a speedy investigation please provide the following details:
- Your full name
- (If relevant) The FemCap manufacturing lot number (which is provided on the identification card you receive with your cervical cap), or
- (If relevant) The Caya Gel manufacturing lot number (which is on the sticker on the tube), and
- (If relevant) Product photos
